Buckwheat, what is it?
Often called buckwheat, buckwheat is not related to wheat. From a botanical point of view, it is not even a cereal but a polygonaceous as well as rhubarb and sorrel. Native to North-East Asia, buckwheat adapts to most cold climates and has many advantages such as its predominance on weeds, its possible implementation even on poor soils and the rapidity of its cultivation (about 100 days).
