What is Chlorophyllin?
Chlorophyllin is a semi-synthetic mixture of water-soluble sodium copper salts derived from chlorophyll, the pigment that gives plants their green colour. The center magnesium atom is replaced with copper, and the phytol tail is lost. In contrast to chlorophyll, this mixture is water-soluble.
The exact mechanism of action remains unknown today. This substance has been taken orally as an internal deodorant for over 50 years to aid patients with colostomies and ileostomies. (Containing Chlorophyll from alfalfa and clover leaves)
Sorbitol, Xylitol, Microcrystalline Cellulose, Stearic Acid, Peppermint Leaf Powder, Magnesium Stearate, Hydrolyzed Gelatin, Silica, Maltodextrin.
RECOMMENDED DOSE - (ORAL) ADULTS ONLY:Chew 1 tablet 2 times per day. If odour is not controlled, increase the dosage to 1 tablet three times per day.
CAUTIONS:Consult a health care practitioner if symptoms persist. If cramps or diarrhea occurs, reduce dosage. Do not exceed 300 mg daily. Do not use if you are pregnant or breastfeeding. May cause discolouration of the tongue, urine and faeces. May cause cramps or diarrhea. Chewable tablets may not be suitable to people with certain health or dental conditions.
